Two amateur cyclists, in ill-fitting lycra, face off against each other in an increasingly ridiculous battle of bravado to prove who is the true two-wheeled king of the streets.

Inspired by my failed attempts at becoming a ‘proper’ cyclist, this film pokes fun at the machoistic tendencies of the average hobbyist. Featuring Kevin ‘KG' Garry who can be seen in Apple TV's Ted Lasso, and Ciarán Dowd whose comedy pilot Don Rodolfo has just gone live on BBC.

A seemingly innocent phone call between a young woman and her Swedish mother slowly reveals chilling secrets that don't bode well for her Tech-Deck obsessed partner.

This snappy black comedy, created during the 2020 coronavirus lockdown, garnered multiple awards and secured a spot on the 1.4 longlist. Shot under challenging circumstances, it was a fantastic excercise in producing something creative that resonates with an audience using limited resources.
